In 2005 Ethan began investing in lighting and grip equipment and started A-Frame Productions with the mission to provide an alternative to the big rental houses and offer competitive prices with “Mom and Pop” service. 18 years later in 2023, A-Frame is a boutique camera, lighting and grip rental company in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, servicing the NYC film and television industry with a diverse inventory of the leading brands.

As an active DP in the industry, Ethan is integral in consulting with A-Frame so that they only carry top of the line instruments that are proven on set and well maintained in the shop.
